Kid’s rocker: $125 (We finish this with mineral oil. This is a great finish for kids and you can sand out any “artwork” and re-apply easily. Polyurethane with your choice of stain is $15)

SHIPPING: Each piece of our furniture is custom fit as the chair is assembled. This precludes merely shipping the parts for assembly at the destination. Due to the size, shipping costs (except for the child rocker) is fairly expensive and often exceeds the cost of the piece itself. We do deliver, however, if we can get enough orders to cover our time out of the shop. The delivery charge in this case will consist of a fee per piece that covers our travel expenses. The more pieces delivered, the lower the cost per piece. The child rocker can be shipped with the rockers detached; shipping cost is between $50 and $75.
The lovely thing about making beds is that we have the ability to set the height you request of the mattress off the ground. If you need a longer frame we can do that too for an additional charge. Our beds are solid cedar and if you would like any woodburing done it is available at an additional charge.
Tables and chairs are by special order. Greg has to help make these, and when our other business is busy he is unable to get into the shop so the wait is generally a long one.
Currently we are finishing all chairs and benches with an outdoor finish. Your choice of stain followed by either Olympic or Thompsons wood sealer. We use Minwax stains so you have a wide variety of choices. If you would like polyurethane it is an additional $35 for the large single rockers and 4’ items, an additional $40 for 5’ items, an additional $50 for the 6’ bench. All beds are done with a polyurethane finish included.
As of late we have discovered that Lowe’s has discontinued selling Olympic stains. We are currently looking for a source of Olympic Merlot and Red Oak, so the availability of those colors is questionable. We do use Sherwin Williams water-based Deckscapes products. They have a wide variety of colors and customers are happy with the results.
We do offer woodburning of names, dates, hearts, teddy bears, military insignia, and public domain logos at an additional charge. If you have a ranch brand that you own or a logo that you own we would be more than happy to burn it on your piece at an additional charge.
Each piece is hand made from scratch by us (mostly
Beth). Consequently, no two pieces are
exactly alike. All products are made primarily from Incense Cedar which is
ideal for interior and exterior use.
Unlike cheaply made products found in home improvement and department stores
which fall apart after one season or blow away, our furniture, even when used
outdoors, will provide years of enjoyment
We do not carry a large inventory and prefer to make pieces especially for our customers. We have 4 children ranging in age from 17 to 25 and the demands of family life result in irregular business hours.
